Scribbleworks
I’m not very good at sketchbooks. I usually end up using them as a day planner/ notebook with occasional sketched plans for three dimensional projects. But I’ve always liked the idea of sketchbooks with actual art sketches, and so one day while rereading Lynda Barry’s What It IS, I decided to try again. I gathered up some colorful cardstock paper that I had unsuccessfully tried to improve with natural dyes, sewed it into a book, and started scribbling in it. But most of the scribbles refused to remain sketchy.
